It's been really cool to see the pride movement grow in western Newfoundland -- from a pulled together group only a few years ago, to a week full of events in 2014!

Pair one of the best dance-pop bands in Canada with the best in Atlantic Canada, and you've got the pairing for an awesome night. In Corner Brook, no less!

This was one of the most fun rock shows I've shot in a long time.

It used to be a bit of an annual guarantee -- sometime in the summer, Hey Rosetta! would make the trek across Newfoundland from St. John's to play in the Woody Point Heritage Theatre.

And then the band exploded, touring around the world, and we were sorta wondering if that small, intimate performance from the large band was gone. But here they are, back "home" in the Heritage Theatre, and it was incredible.

It's no secret that I love and adore Gros Morne National Park.

When Adelle and Ryan MacDonald approached me about shooting their wedding, they said "Let us know if you're available, and then we'll tell you where we're having it." I've known Adelle for ages, so obviously I said yes, and when I found out they were holding their wedding ceremony on top of Gros Morne mountain, I was incredibly excited.

Each year a group of professors and staff at Grenfell Campus put together a hockey team, challenging a group of students to a game. The game raises money for Grenfell scholarships and is a ton of fun. 

Spring means the end of ski season, but not without a bang — or a splash, in this case. The Slush Cup is an annual event at Marble Mountain in Steady Brook, NL where they create a pool at the bottom of the hill and challenge skiers and snowboarders to get across it. The results are often hilarious.
