In September 2014 Gros Morne Summer Music brought together two powerhouses in music in Newfoundland and Labrador: The Once, the Juno-nominated folk-trad trio and the Memorial University Chamber Choir, the official choir of Memorial University featuring students from the Memorial University School of Music.
With the help of some incredible arrangements by Duane Andrews, The Once and the Chamber Choir presented two concerts: one in St. Pat's in Woody Point and one in First United Church in Corner Brook. The resulting performances were magical and inspiring.
Easily one of the greatest musical experiences I've ever had. Here's what it looked like.
